Profile
Junction West is located in the center of downtown Raleigh and has 3380 square feet of space that can accommodate 256 occupants. Private gatherings such as business meetings, baby showers, wedding rehearsals, family reunions, sorority/fraternity mixers, and any other occasion can be held at the venue.
The Raleigh-based husband and wife team, Rob and Gabie Frantz livened up the area next to Union Station’s rails through the bar and event space. They claim that opening a bar was always a pipe dream, but when they spotted the empty location, they decided to go for it. The design cues used throughout the venue are deliberate, just like their craft beer. The Frantz collaborated with Nicole Alvarez of Clearscapes to design a simple, cheery, and friendly space. There is plenty of space for seating inside and outside, ready for the next gathering over beers or late-night chat. You can see and hear the people you’re with thanks to the built-in acoustic panels and the natural light. This setup also encourages patrons to come by any time of the day.
Junction West serves spirit-free cocktails, like the Forbin’s Ascent, made with pomegranate, grapefruit, lime, and agave, and the Famous Mockingbird with lemon, simple syrup, and bitters.
