In Tibetan Buddhism, the term “bardo” refers to a transitional condition between death and rebirth, the duration of which varies depending on a person’s actions during life and their age at death. A unique American tasting menu concept was built in Bardo, which is situated in Charlotte’s thriving South End area. The restaurant offers up to a 12-course tasting menu with pairings. It also hosts private events where customers can create their own menu for specific party needs.
Bardo serves a variety of beers, wines, and cocktails. They have spirit-free cocktail options on the menu in addition to Unknown Ginger Ale and San Pellegrino.
