The historic Firestone Company’s 1949 building, which had been abandoned, was renovated into the Rio Bravo Tap Room, which features a huge bar, a Biergarten with a stage, big TVs, a game room, a front patio, a barrel room for meetings and events, and a sizable brewing area with glass windows so that customers can enjoy a beer while watching the brewers at work.
Rio Bravo Brewing is a great spot to hang out with friends and family because it is “New Mexico True” certified, actively involved in community outreach projects, and has a full-service kitchen, a catering menu, Happy Hour, and late-night discounts. RBB is more than just a brewery; it’s the perfect destination for locals and visitors alike. They have hosted weddings, birthday parties, fundraisers, and rehearsal dinners. These events feature the beer life with inclusions like catering, private server, PA system, TV, mixer, and microphone.
On their 24-tap handles, Rio Bravo offers expertly brewed beers in various genres to suit every palate. One of their award-winning beers is the Dice Roll IPA, which won the NM IPA Challenge 2020. In addition to the locally produced wines from New Mexico, there are non-alcoholic options on the menu. You can pick from their homemade root beer, cream soda, or freshly brewed tea.
