Profile
Juan Vazquez, who was raised in the Oklahoman town of Ada, is familiar with the flavor of real, genuine Mexican cuisine. Juan learned firsthand how to make fresh, delectable food from his uncle, who owned and ran no less than six eateries in the neighborhood.
Juan moved to Henderson in 1996, and it wasn’t until 2013 that he fulfilled his ambition of opening his own restaurant. Juan’s Flame Fajitas & Cantina was founded in its original site on West Tropicana, where it became famous for its distinctive table-side presentation of flaming chicken, beef, and pork. The flavors are influenced by classic Mexican cuisine, like enchiladas de mole, carne asada, and, of course, sizzling fajitas. Their menu features tender marinated meats and seafood, vegetarian options, and genuine desserts.
Juan attributes his move to the neighborhood to the neighboring Lovelady Brewing Company. He spent a considerable amount of time at Lovelady due to his fondness for craft beer. Thus, Juan’s Flaming Fajitas & Cantina offers a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. They serve Heineken 0.0 and other N/A beverages like Root Beer and Ginger Ale. You can pair these refreshments with mouthwatering food like their Shrimp Cocktail, Mexi-Fries, and Queso Fundido, particularly during Happy Hour.
