The Town Company, run by head chef Johnny Leach, combines traditional origins with more upscale beginnings to capture the modern-day Kansas City experience. In collaboration with his wife, executive pastry chef Helen Jo Leach has developed menus that elevate and modernize regional culinary traditions. The Town Company redefines the idea of a modern Midwestern table charmingly and creatively. Its menu often rotates throughout the year and is fuelled by a network of nearby farmers, ranchers, and other distinctive providers. Additionally, it is centered around the white wood blazing hearth.
The Town Company’s wine program emphasizes regional grape varieties and outstanding examples of those varieties from around the world of winemaking. It is a study on the value of agriculture and how vineyards, farmers, and winemaking traditions have influenced how we discover and appreciate wine. The dynamic gradients of a wine’s body style inspired the creation of a one-of-a-kind wine list since they believe that the natural progression of temperatures, textures, and colors enhances the dining experience.
Aside from tasty wine, beers, and cocktails, The Town Company serves non-alcoholic options. These include Run Wild IPA from Athletic Brewing Co., CBD Seltzer from Mighty Kind, and the Nah-Groni made with Ritual Gin Alternative, Giffard aperitif, and smoked verjus.
