Profile
The Peterboro is a casual dining establishment serving modern Chinese American classics in Detroit’s Historic Chinatown. They have a sizable bar menu with a unique house and traditional cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits. A general store once stood at 420 Peterboro. To pay homage to Detroit’s former Chinatown neighborhood, The Peterboro was built in 2016. The Peterboro’s mission has always been to create a welcoming and secure environment for its staff and visitors to enjoy their amazing food and drinks with loved ones and friends while celebrating life. The restaurant also sells merchandise for its customers, such as enamel pins, gift cards, beanies, and patches.
The Peterboro serves teapots and cocktails that are enough for four people. You can choose from a wide selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages! Their spirit-free choices include the Golden Hour, which is made with orange juice, lime, coconut, and tonic. Meanwhile, their Suckerpunch is a boastful combination of hibiscus, lime, grapefruit, habanero, salt, and soda. They also have assorted rishi teas.
The Peterboro is proud to be part of the Detroit Optimist Society, a chain of eateries that also manages the Time Will Tell, the Mutiny Bar, Grandma Bob’s, Honest John’s, Bad Luck Bar, and Sugar House.
