Profile
James Beard Award winners Ken Oringer and Jamie Bissonnette operate Little Donkey, a small plate restaurant and raw bar with an international flair. Located less than a mile from Harvard, MIT, Kendall Square, Inman’s Square, Harvard Square, Lesley University, and Porter Square, Little Donkey is situated in the center of Cambridge’s Central Square. It is the chefs’ first establishment in the Boston area in more than six years. It offers a warm, day-to-night dining experience with market-driven, international small plates influenced by their travels around the world.
Dishes like the Pickle Brine Fried Chicken Sandwich, General Tso Chicken Wings, Caviar Sandwich, and many vegetarian and vegan options are always on the menu and readily available. Menu items could change due to the use of seasonal, fresh ingredients. If you have any allergies or dietary restrictions, please inform your server, as many of our dishes can be adjusted to suit your requirements. Each drink is produced with locally sourced ingredients and has a unique carbonating or diluting component, such as a turmeric shrub flavored with cumin and coriander. Try their zero-proof concoction, “Stair Car,” which is made with grapefruit, lemon, cinnamon, and Hoppy Refresher. Lagunitas Hoppy Refresher is also available by itself.
