Profile
Counter Culture is inspired by Chef Jeannie Pierola’s contemporary homage to traditional counter dining and the barstools-to-kitchen relationship. The patio seating, an open-air mixologist bar, elevated kitchen bar dining, and stunning Bay views are all excellent features of this kitchen bar. They now provide pick-up, delivery, and reservations for dining and Florida patio seating. However, patrons must be aware that bad weather can change the availability of outdoor seating.
Pierola is well known for creating some of Tampa’s most inventive culinary experiences. But her “Happening Hour” idea raises the bar for creative cuisine. ‘Happening Hour’ is a spin on ‘Happy Hour.’ Its concept is to have a fun hour where every week, something new “happens.” The chefs at Counter Culture work together every week to design a special menu of “Happening Bites.” However, such bites are only served for one week and are never offered again. This allows the chefs to exercise their creativity while providing foodies with a secret menu of upmarket meals that is intriguing and continuously changing.
The beverage menu at Counter Culture also offers non-alcoholic options. Customers can opt for the N/A Krombacher Weizen Alkoholfrei, which is an alcohol-free beer. The zero-proof selection also includes the Bikini Bottom, made with pineapple, passion fruit, lime, orgeat, ginger ale, and orchid.
