Profile
On the same block as the renowned speakeasy The Saint in St. Petersburg’s Grand Central District, Cocktail St. Pete is a craft cocktail/dance bar. David Fischer, the owner who also runs The Saint and Zazoo’d, is perhaps one of the Sunshine City’s most meticulous designers and small company operators. Cocktail St. Pete has already firmly established itself as a fixture in the Grand Central District thanks to its exquisite drinks, bop-filled soundtrack, and sociable staff.
Fischer is renowned for paying close attention to every last detail. The Saint has quickly established itself as a mainstay in the Sunshine City’s cocktail scene because of its unique combination of regional art and almost-too-fabulous-to-drink cocktails. Large revolving disco balls, sparkly walls, rainbow lights over the circular bar, a stylish lounge area, and of course, lots of room to dance are all inside for customers to enjoy. There is a small stage put up inside as well for live performances. Ample outside seating is available at Cocktail St. Pete in addition to a front-facing open bar.
For the drinks, there are three concepts that patrons can choose from – Stiff Drinks, Hard Liquor, and Raging Good Times. Non-alcoholic options are available for non-drinkers. Try their Gold Star, made with pineapple juice, coconut juice, lemon juice, and cinnamon.
