The location of Mills 50 is to the east of Ivanhoe Village. Many of Orlando’s top Asian eateries, including Tori Tori, are located in the trendy neighborhood. In Orlando Weekly’s 2021 best-of list, this yakitori (chicken skewer) restaurant got “Best Zero-Proof Cocktail.”
The idea is based on the Japanese expression “ichigo ichie,” which means to be present at the moment as if it might not come up again. Chef and owner Sean “Sonny” Nguyen had the idea to combine contemporary cocktail bars with classic Japanese pub fare. Your experience will be genuinely one-of-a-kind, from the classic cocktails to the grilled skewers over charcoal to the big city ambiance. Kumquat juice, ancho chiles, and rose syrup are just a few of the unusual ingredients Tori Tori has on hand for its bar.
Upon request, the bartenders at Tori Tori will expertly create a mocktail using your preferred flavors. Otherwise, you can ask for other non-alcoholic options like Fever Tree Ginger Beer and Grapefruit Soda.
Readers of Orlando Weekly also seemed to enjoy the food and atmosphere at Tori Tori. Therefore, be sure to serve your mocktail with delectable Japanese food. You can have skewered shrimp, meat, pig belly, vegetables, and freshly cooked yakitori. Fried rice, crab croquettes, and fried chicken with citrus-pepper sauce are possibilities.
