Profile
503W is a Colorado Springs-based, award-winning restaurant and bar that specializes in modern American cuisine with Asian influences. Fresh, organic, and locally sourced ingredients are used whenever possible. 503W features drinks from countries like Japan and Finland. One of them is the Shibata flask sake. Shibata is a Japanese alcoholic beverage that uses ‘kanzui’ in its production process. Kanzui is said to be one of the softest waters in Japan. Meanwhile, the “long drinks” from Finland are also featured by the bar. Long drinks are the most popular type of alcoholic beverage; their legendary flavor is now available in America. In order to serve drinks to all the visitors quickly enough during the 1952 Summer Games in Finland, which had a population of only 4 million people and was still recovering from World War II, Finland commissioned the creation of a ground-breaking new liquor drink. As a result, the first long drinks were created.
Aside from refreshing alcoholic beverages, 503W serves non-alcoholic cocktails on its menu. You can try the Hibiscus ‘Booch Highball, made with Seedlip Spice 94, Happy Leaf Hibiscus Lemon Ginger Kombucha, and house grenadine. Other N/A selections include Strong Water Ginger Beer and Gruvi IPA, which contains 60 calories.
