Profile
Nari is a modern Thai restaurant that combines traditional dishes with a Californian perspective. The word “Nari,” which derives from the Sanskrit word for “women” in Thai, is the chef/owner Pim’s tribute to the many generations of Thai women who established the basis for Thai cuisine as well as a personal love letter to the women who helped her learn to cook and, more importantly, to eat.
Inside the Hotel Kabuki in Japantown, Nari’s bar and lounge offer a substantial cocktail menu that fits the size of the location. It offers zero-proof drinks, namely Unakarn (juniper-infused Seedlip, lemongrass, tonic), Mayura (Lyre’s Spiced Cane Spirit, passionfruit, pineapple, lime, N/A Aperetivo), Matana (Seedlip Garden, Arbol agave, lime, Thai basil), and Illa (Seedlip Spice, N/A Vermouth, N/A Aperetivo).
