Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar is a tiki bar that opened in May 2011 and is situated at the Disneyland Hotel at the Disneyland Resort of Anaheim, California. Trader Sam’s, which LA Weekly ranked as one of the top five tiki bars in Los Angeles, is just one of the numerous tiki bars that are becoming increasingly well-liked not just in the United States but also abroad in what some refer to as tiki’s “third wave.”
It is highly advised to make reservations in advance, which you can do on the Disneyland app up to 60 days before your trip. Only in some circumstances and depending on availability can same-day reservations be made. You can add your party to the mobile walk-up list at some table-service restaurants if you don’t have any meal reservations. However, this option is also subject to availability.
Trader Sam’s combines artifacts from Disney attractions and films, like Indiana Jones, with components of traditional tiki bars (such as glass floats, bamboo, and tiki carvings). When certain cocktails are ordered, the bar uses animatronics, lighting, sound effects, and personnel interaction. They include animated shipwrecks in bottles, erupting volcanoes, bar chairs that slowly sink into the ground, and tiki carvings with moving eyes that sway back and forth. No-booze options are available on the menu. These include Skipper Sipper, which is made with tropical juices, agave nectar, falernum, mint, and fresh lime juice topped with soda water.
