Profile
The man who crafts the most inventive dishes boldly displays the secrets of true Italian cuisine. Let Chef Marcellino enchant your taste buds any night of the week with his hand-made, naturally-flavored pasta (saffron, squid ink, cacio e Pepe, etc.), an abundance of crustaceans, wild game, reduction sauces, seasonal truffles, and more. Vegan and gluten-free options are also available. Marcellino Ristorante serves non-alcoholic refreshments. You may try the Hibiscus Mango Spritz (hibiscus syrup, sweet mango puree, Fever Tree Club Soda) or the Rosemary Mint Lemonade (fresh lemon juice, muddled mint, rosemary syrup, Acqua Panna).
Since its opening in 2003, Marcellino Ristorante has delighted locals and tourists with its authentic Italian fare, which includes dozens of excellent, hand-crafted fresh pasta designed by Chef Marcellino Verzino. Marcellino was born and raised on a farm in the Italian countryside. He developed his culinary abilities in Rome and owned restaurants in Italy, Greece, and New York before settling in Arizona.
Located in the SouthBridge neighborhood along the canal, Marcellino is open for lunch, dinner, and private/semi-private events. It has a full bar, two patios, the main dining room with seating for an interactive Chef’s Island, a fully private dining room, private and semi-private rooms with dividers, a cozy alcove for two, and buyout capabilities for large gatherings.
