Profile
Locals and visitors in downtown Chandler have fewer breakfast alternatives due to the expansion of restaurants and bars. Niels Kreipke, a local developer and business owner, created the Tipsy Egg on one of his properties near the intersection of Arizona Avenue and Boston Street to change that. He understands what works and what doesn’t from his partnership with other restaurant concepts across the valley, and thus far, this concept has exceeded his expectations.
With 3,000 square feet, the contemporary decor and style are striking and include brass accents and mid-century modern booths. Tipsy Egg is attracting a diverse spectrum of people of all ages and is developing into a popular tourist destination for locals and out-of-towners. It offers guests a menu that is anything but standard, a fun indoor/outdoor bar environment, and a distinctive, playful menu. This is the first of additional concepts throughout the valley that put cuisine first and cocktails second, hence the name.
Tipsy Egg serves different kinds of mimosas, bloody marys, and cocktails. For non-drinkers, there’s the Strawberry Sparkle Mocktail, made with muddled strawberries, mint, simple syrup, and lemon-lime soda. It is beautifully garnished with strawberries and mint sprig. If you’re not up to any mixed concoctions, cold brew coffee is also available.
