No matter where you’re from—across the street, on the other side of town, or abroad—you are welcome at 07 Pub. It’s a spot where you may unwind while enjoying fantastic food, drinks, and conversation, a setting that encourages people to create new memories while sharing old ones, and a family-run enterprise that values every individual.
Marcus Spillson has owned the 07 Pub since 2016. If the name sounds familiar, it probably is. Marcus comes from a long line of restaurant owners. His great-grandfather operated the Berghoff Gardens, a well-known dinner club in Fort Wayne in the 1930s, 1940s, and 1950s, and his grandpa owned Cafe Johnell, a former four-star French restaurant. Mark Spillson, Marcus’ father, went from doing dishes on Saturday nights when he was 12 to become the company’s vice president and a successful restaurateur in his own right.
Marcus became the fourth generation from the Spillson family to serve the thirsty palates and parched throats of locals in the Fort Wayne area with the launch of 07 Pub. The pub is the Spillson legacy, with its natural brick wall behind the three-sided bar, the original high tin roof ceiling, the hardwood floors, and the brilliant blue padded bar seats. It serves a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beers. The non-alcoholic selection includes the Kaliber N/A Beer Lager.
