Podmore is a brunch and cocktail spot opened by Chef Anthony Rush and Katherine Nomura, the team behind Senia, in the city’s famed Downtown Honolulu. The Joseph W. Podmore Building’s beauty and history inspired the two as they set out to design a place where people might escape the everyday.
By day, Podmore is a brunch spot serving dishes with a hint of European inspiration Brunch at Podmore is a delectable start to the day with opulent dishes like the Full English Breakfast and a range of beverages that embodies their evening cocktail concept. By night, Podmore transforms into a cocktail bar for people of legal drinking age. Chef Rush combines his skills with knowledgeable bar personnel and concentrates on the beverage menu. Cocktails are prepared artistically and with a gastronomic perspective. The menu features zero-proof options for non-alcoholic drinkers. These include the It’s 4:59 Somewhere, made with pineapple, orgeat, cinnamon, lime, and seltzer.
You can eat as little or as much of the sophisticated yet approachable little plates of food that are served with the drinks as you please. You can just nibble or try everything on the menu. The evening snacks involve savory and sweet selections, such as Foie Gras Parfait and Knickerbocker Glory.
