Profile
The simple tenet of food made from food guides Dante’s Fire, Cocktails & Cuisine, while the idea of a scratch kitchen producing fine food for everyone comes from executive chef and owner Ken Foy. They have designed a fine food, laid-back setting that, well, caters to everyone. Dante’s Fire partners with local ventures such as the Tucson Pretzel Bread, The Sexy Grilled Cheese & Salad Company, and Oy Vey. They create custom menus for private events and catering, regardless of whether it’s for your wedding or wine dinners. Chef Foy presents weekly specials for patrons, which can involve half-priced burgers, Taco Wednesday, and All-Day Happy Hour!
You may start the evening with their daily Happy Hour, which happens twice a day, and feel free to stay all night. Their non-alcohol drinks are called Fraud. This mocktail selection involves Cucumber Fresca, which is made with muddled cucumber, grapefruit juice, ginger beer, fresh herbs, and Agave Nectar. You can also try their No-Jito, made from lime, mint, sugar, and seltzer.
Dante’s Fire also joins festivals to spread brand awareness. You might have already encountered them in one of the wine festivals in Southern Arizona when they accompanied the Arizona Winegrowers Association. Participating in wine festivals, as opposed to the tasting events Dante’s Fire used to attend, has benefited the establishment and attracted new customers. It has also inspired the menu of chef Foy’s pub.
